June 25th A Very Sad Day

Michael Jackson passed away today.
I still can't believe it. I was not a huge fan but I loved his
"Thriller" album and video. I always felt kind of sorry for him because he never seemed to love himself. I hope his soul has finally found peace.

Farrah Fawcett passed today also. She lost her battle with cancer. Farrah was a large part of my TV viewing when I was younger. I loved her in Charlie's Angels and was blown away with "The Burning Bed". Of course her most famous photo is the poster of her in the red swimsuit.

My prayers go out to the families of both of these magnificent people.

June 24th

Washing clothes is one of those things we just do but don't think about it much. I think it needs to be included in my project.

June 23rd

This is a stained glass piece I'm making. It will probably be the last I make because of my arthritis.

June 22nd

These are the things I take daily to help keep me healthy.

June 21st

This is the Father's Day bouquet I made. I lifted it from the Cricut MB but can't remember who from.

June 20th David's Birthday!

Happy Birthday, David! He isn't really into the whole Birthday thing. I had to get a picture of what 59 years young looks like; yes I said 59! You look great honey!

June 19th

We have a games night once a month. Here is one of the games we played and it was so much fun.
We laughed so much.

June 18th Summer Bounty has begun!

June 17th

I saw this turtle along the side of the road this morning. She was busy digging a hole and then proceeded to settle in to laying her eggs. I wish she wasn't so close to the road but I have learnt not to try to move them.

June 16th

The smell of fresh cut hay is so pleasing. When the bales are rolled they not only smell good they are fun to look at.

June 15th - They're Here and So Sweet!

Strawberries are ready and we are picking them as fast as they ripen. By the end of the week their will be an abundance of them.

June 14th Pink at the Show

I saw this pink Ford tractor and fell in love. On the side it says, "its a girl". This was so cute among all the "manly" tractors. The lady who owns this tractor also participates in the tractor pull.

June 13 Historic Farm Show

Well we are spending lots of time at the fair grounds for the show this weekend. BEWARE, tractor pictures are the order of the day for the next couple of days, LOL.

June 12th

The tractors are on their way to the Historic Farm show. These two can't be driven up because it would take forever to get there. The red one was made in 1948 and the white one in 1950.
